Woomelang - Victoria
Woomelang is a small farming town in the Mallee region of Victoria. It is located 359 kilometres northwest of Melbourne and has unique outdoor murals, interesting iron artwork, and great free camping. The town centre has a general store and cafe, fuel, and a lovely hotel.
Wander around Woomelang and see the eight mini silos painted with endangered species of the Mallee.
Explore the shearing shed constructed from compressed kerosene cans during World War 2.
On the outskirts of town is Cronomby Tanks, a great free camping and picnic spot with interesting iron artworks.
