The Redwater Creek Falls Walk

Distance: 1.3 kilometres return - Time: Allow around 30 minutes - Grade 2

This easy, family-friendly walk follows part of the Tasmanian Trail, making it a relaxed stroll rather than a challenging hike. The walk follows a 4WD track through Stoodley Forest. It’s mostly flat and easy to navigate, though it can become muddy after rain, so sturdy shoes are a good idea. Along the way, you’ll see several signs pointing you toward Redwater Creek Falls.

After walking for around one kilometre, keep an eye out for a gate and a sign on the right-hand side of the track. Pass through the gate and follow the short path to the falls.

From the falls, you can cross the creek and head up the hill behind them, where you’ll discover several small caves to explore. This adds an extra sense of adventure, especially for kids, and makes the walk feel like a mini discovery trail.
