One of the most unique attractions in Wynyard is the Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition. The Wynyard Visitor Information Centre is home to the remarkable Ransley Veteran Car Collection. This world‑class collection features more than a dozen early motor vehicles, including a 1903 Ford Model A — recognised as the oldest Ford in the world, as well as rare early models like the 1907 Ford Model K, 1911 Brush Runabout and a one‑of‑a‑kind 1905 Darracq Flying 15.
Visiting the car collection isn’t just for motoring enthusiasts; each vehicle has been lovingly restored and is displayed with informative details that bring Australia’s automotive history to life. Fossil Bluff
Just a short drive from Wynyard, Fossil Bluff is a fascinating coastal attraction for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. A short drive from Wynyard, you can explore Guide Falls, Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, Boat Harbour Beach and Rocky Cape National Park.
Guide Falls is a Lovely Waterfall that is very easy to access and is located near Wynyard and Burnie in Tasmania. The Guide River cascades 25 metres over an impressive basalt rock face, creating Guide Falls.
The Emu Valley Rhodeodendron Gardens is an impressive 11-hectare private garden situated in Burnie. It boasts over 24,000 varieties of rhododendrons and other exotic flowering plants from around the world. You may even spot a platypus in the lake.
An absolutely stunning and unspoilt beach on the north coast of Tasmania. The small village is situated on the rolling green hills, overlooking a crescent-shaped, white sandy beach.
