Millaa Millaa Falls ~ Queensland.

Millaa Millaa Falls is one of the most iconic and photographed waterfalls in North Queensland. Located 98 kilometres south of Cairns in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, this postcard-perfect waterfall plunges 18 metres over a sheer basalt cliff into a deep, pristine swimming hole.

The short, easy walk to the base makes Millaa Millaa Falls accessible for most visitors, and the cool water is perfect for escaping the tropical heat. Surrounded by lush rainforest, it’s a must-visit waterfall near Cairns.

Josephine Falls ~ Queensland.

Set within Wooroonooran National Park, Josephine Falls is a local favourite and a popular swimming spot, located about 75 kilometres south of Cairns. A well-maintained 700-metre rainforest walk leads to this stunning multi-tiered waterfall.

At the base, you’ll find a large rock pool with cool, clear green water, perfect for swimming. There’s also a natural rock waterslide, making Josephine Falls a fun and memorable stop — especially on a warm day.

Clamshell Falls ~ Queensland.

Located in Behana Gorge, just 32 kilometres south of Cairns, Clamshell Falls rewards those willing to put in a little effort. The walk follows a sealed 3.2-kilometre one-way track through stunning rainforest before reaching this impressive multi-level waterfall.
